The Ethiopian project is one which the Club engages with other Rotary and private groups to provide water storage facilities for the nomadic Ethiopian Afar people. A major benefit of this project frees the women of the communities from the daily search for domestic water which can take up to six or more hours. Training opportunities are then provided for the women of the communities in the fields of micro business, health and hygiene.
